Why eGhai exists
eGhai is a digital brand rooted in the Nilgiris. We started with a simple idea: the taste and character of Ooty — its homemade chocolates, its tea, its bakery favourites — shouldn't be something you only get to experience if you happen to visit.
eGhai Mart is our first step: bringing together products from makers and bakeries associated with Ooty and the Nilgiris, so a little of that feeling can reach you at home, wherever you are.

A little about where this comes from
The Nilgiris are a range of hills in Tamil Nadu, centred around Ooty (Udhagamandalam) — known for their cool climate, tea gardens, and a long tradition of small, family-run chocolate shops and bakeries along the town's shopping streets. That local craft is the starting point for everything eGhai Mart sells.
